DERWENT ROAD, HARPENDEN

This 1980's property in Harpenden is being extended and renovated to become our client's 'forever family home'. The project involves a two-storey side and rear extension (accommodating a Garage and Utility Room with a Master bedroom suite above) with a single storey wraparound extension to the side and rear (accommodating open-plan kitchen/ dining/ living and office spaces). The existing property is also being rendered above Ground floor level and the datum line of this element runs through into the new extensions to create and integrated aesthetic for old and new parts of the house.
