This small but well considered rear extension in central St Albans has provided our clients with an enlarged kitchen space that is flooded with natural light and vistas that connect the main living space right through to the garden beyond.

The extension is formed of dual pitch roofs that are clad in an Anthracite standing seam Zinc with buff brickwork that runs both internally and externally. The flooring finish is a concrete effect microscreed that also covers the raised terrace space with Oak finishes to the kitchen worktops and rooflight surrounds providing some warmth to the interiors.

This project was completed in 2022.
